These Terms are the agreement between you and CF Sports Tracking LLC, which operates HoopTracks ("HoopTracks", "we", "us"). They apply when you sign in as a coach. If you do not agree with them, do not use the application.
How HoopTracks handles information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
Who you are agreeing with
HoopTracks is operated by CF Sports Tracking LLC, based in Oklahoma, USA. Contact: cfsportstracking@gmail.com.
HoopTracks is for coaches and staff of high school basketball programs, and for people they authorise. You must be an adult to hold an account. Players do not have accounts.
Accounts are created by the operator. You are responsible for what happens under your account, and you should not share your sign-in with anyone outside your program's staff. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
By entering player information, you represent that you are authorised by your school or program to do so, and that you will follow your school's rules about student information.
You are the person who knows your school's policy, who knows whether a family has asked for a student's details to be withheld, and who has the relationship with those families. HoopTracks has none of those things.
In practice this means:
HoopTracks is a league-wide scouting tool, and that is the point of it. Any signed-in coach can look up any team in the league and see its roster and basic box score statistics. Deeper analysis is limited to your own team, your own tracked games, and teams you have agreed to share with.
Because of that, the next two sections are the conditions of having access at all.
Information about another school's players is for coaching and scouting your own team. Nothing else.
Specifically, you agree not to:
These are not formalities. Access is shared between programs on the understanding that everyone treats other people's kids the way they would want their own treated. Breaking this ends your access.
What you enter about your own program stays yours. We do not sell it, and we do not hand it to anyone outside the platform.
You grant us permission to store it, process it, and display it inside HoopTracks as described in these Terms and the Privacy Policy — which includes showing your roster and box scores to other coaches on the platform, as section 3 explains.
When a season rolls over, that season's data is opened to every coach on the platform, at full depth. Past seasons are open archives. This is deliberate, it is how the in-app FAQ describes it, and you should assume that anything you enter will eventually be visible to every coach using HoopTracks.
Data entered into HoopTracks is retained indefinitely unless you ask us to remove it. Section 9 of the Privacy Policy explains what removal can and cannot do.
You control whether a game is publicly viewable. When you turn a fan link on, anyone holding that link can view the game — including anyone it is forwarded to. Turning a link off and on again produces the same address, so that a link already sent to parents keeps working.
Fan pages never show player or official names. Before you share a link widely, make sure sharing it is consistent with your school's expectations.
Officials' names come from the scorebook, where officials record their own name and registration number. Their names are visible only to signed-in coaches and are never shown publicly.
Officiating records in HoopTracks are counts of what happened in games. Use them for preparation. Do not use them to publicly criticise, identify, or campaign against an individual official, and do not redistribute them outside your staff.
HoopTracks is built and run by one person. It is not an enterprise product and these Terms are not going to pretend it is.
The application processes no payments and stores no payment details. Where a paid plan applies, it is arranged directly with the operator and set by hand. If that changes, these Terms will change first.
If you break sections 2, 4, 6 or 7 — entering data you were not authorised to enter, or misusing another school's information — and that causes a claim against CF Sports Tracking LLC, you agree to cover the resulting costs.
This is the clause that gives the rest of this page teeth. It exists because the operator has no way to supervise what a coach does with what they see.
HoopTracks is provided as it is. We do not warrant that statistics, ratings, projections or any other output are accurate or fit for a particular purpose. Every number here is derived from what was entered and from models that are estimates. Do not treat any of it as a professional evaluation of a student.
To the fullest extent the law allows, CF Sports Tracking LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars, whichever is greater.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
You can stop using HoopTracks at any time and ask us to close your account.
We may suspend or end access if these Terms are broken — particularly section 2 or section 4 — or if it becomes necessary to protect students whose information is on the platform. Where circumstances allow, we will explain why first.
When these Terms change materially we will update the date and version at the top and notify coaches in the application. Continuing to use HoopTracks after that means you accept the new version.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, USA, and any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts located there.
